The Saskatoon Blazers outshot the Estevan Bears 37-16 at Affinity Place Friday night en route to a 6-2 win.

Estevan Bears forward Tucker Buhay scored his team-leading ninth goal in 15 games shorthanded halfway through the first period Friday night, but the Saskatoon Blazers tied it with a power-play marker from Tyson Yaremko eight minutes later.

Yaremko's marker was the first of six consecutive goals by the Blazers. He added a second goal along the way and assisted another.

Bears captain Caden Drury added a tally - his seventh this season - late in the third.

Saskatoon had a goal on six power plays. Estevan was scoreless on a half dozen of their own chances.

Eric Kahl made 14 save in the win for Saskatoon. Kaden Perron stopped 31 shots for Estevan while taking the loss.

The Bears are 3-8-4. The Blazers are 7-1-0. The teams square up again at 8 p.m. Saturday at Affinity Place.
