For much of Wednesday night at Affinity Place, it looked as though the Flin Flon Bombers were on their way to a seventh straight win.

Ahead 1-0 after 40 minutes and with an early third-period powerplay to work with, the Bombers had visions of putting the finishing touches on another win.

But a shorthanded goal from Estevan Bruins forward Caelan Fitzpatrick sparked a third period comeback for the Bruins, who scored three straight goals to stun the visiting Bombers.

Captain Eric Houk picked a great time to score his first goal of the season, finding the net midway through the period.

Mikol Sartor added an empty netter to seal the deal.

Goaltender Boston Bilous was exceptional in net, making 41 saves in the victory.

The Bruins will now gun for their third straight win when they host the La Ronge Ice Wolves Thursday night at Affinity Place to conclude a 5-game homestand.

Puck drop is slated for 7:00.
