In its largest donation ever received, Camp Easter is the beneficiary of a thirty-thousand dollar donation from SaskEnergy.

Camp Easter Seal is a fully wheelchair accessible residential camp or people with disabilities. It provides a barrier-free environment with activities such as boating, swimming and horseback riding.

SaskEnergy announced late last week that they would be donating the money for the purchase of high efficiency natural gas equipment in order to reduce natural gas costs associated with operating the camp.

Joyce Phillips, the Regional Director for the Saskatchewan Abilities Council, expressed her sincere appreciation and explained that without help from the Crown Corporations, they would have to go without or fundraise on their own.

SaskEnergy's donation represents a committment over the next four years to purchase a double roasting natural gas oven, four natural gas dryers and water heaters, and fund the conversion of the existing wood fireplace to natural gas.
