With temperatures moving back into the high twenties this week, the UV Team from the Canadian Cancer Society's SkinSense Program is in the city today and tomorrow educating residents about the dangers of too much sun exposure.

Doreen Callander, the Prevention Coordinator for Saskatchewan, says you can avoid a number of heat related illnesses by limiting your time in the sun between 11am and 4pm, wearing a wide-rimmed hat and sunglasses with UV protection, and always using sunscreen on exposed skin.

The UV Team will be making stops at the Woodlawn Golf Club, the Souris Valley Aquatic and Leisure Centre, a number of local playparks, St. Joseph's Hospital, and Moose Mountain Provincial Park.
