The town of Moosomin realized a need for their community, and then made it a reality. Visual Artists from the area were looking elsewhere to promote and share their work, so a group of people got together and created a Visual Arts Centre with community support.

The Centre opened February 1st and is located in the Anglican Church in Moosomin. A board of 13 members plan to offer workshops including children programs after school and they'll offer many different visual arts like pottery, photography, sewing, painting, cooking, digital art and anything else residents provide.
