Get ready to step back in time to the roaring twenties with the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum's upcoming "Gin Joint" Speakeasy fundraiser.

The event promises to be an evening filled with glitz, glamour, and plenty of prohibition-era charm. According to Tye Dandridge-Evancio, curator of the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum, attendees can expect a night to remember.

"The Gin Joint Speakeasy is a 1920s fundraiser that we've planned for this year," explained Dandridge-Evancio. "It's on Saturday, March 23rd, running from 7:00 PM till midnight. Tickets are $40 each. We'll have live music performed by the Last Birds, food and drinks, including some super cool 1920s-themed cocktails, and lots of dancing. It's going to be a really good time. We'll also have a 50/50 draw."

While fancy 1920s attire is encouraged, it's not mandatory. However, Dandridge-Evancio highlighted that embracing the theme adds to the overall experience.

"It's an excuse to bust out all the costumes and stuff that you might have, or the fancy dresses and evening wear that you might not normally wear otherwise," said Dandridge-Evancio.

With the stage set for an unforgettable evening, the Estevan Art Gallery and Museum extends a warm invitation to all. For those interested in attending, tickets for the Gin Joint 1920s Speakeasy fundraiser can be purchased either in person or online. Attendees can visit 118 4th St. at the gallery location to pay with exact cash or head to www.eagm.ca, navigate to the events page, fill out a registration form, and send an E-transfer for the exact amount.

Get ready to swing and sway at the Gin Joint Speakeasy fundraiser, where the spirit of the 1920s comes alive in Estevan.
