The Moose Jaw Police Service handled the report of a threat of a shooting at an area school. Those threats, however, were not linked to anyone in Moose Jaw, but rather to the United States, where three people were reported as being in custody for those threats. 

Around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, police received the report of the threat against Central High School. While there is no Central High School in Moose Jaw, there is a Central Collegiate. The threat was circulated through Snapchat. 

An investigation by the Moose Jaw Police Service determined the threat originated in St. Joseph, Missouri. Contact was made with the police in St. Joseph where it was confirmed the threat did take place in their jurisdiction. The St. Joseph’s Police Department reported to the Moose Jaw police three youth were arrested in connection with the threat.
