Health authorities confirmed 238 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan on Friday.

This is a slight increase from the 227 that were confirmed on Thursday.

The seven day average of daily new cases is now at 209.

In Estevan's South East Sub Zone 4, there were eight new cases confirmed on Friday, down from the 16 that were confirmed on Thursday.

The active count in Sub Zone 4 is now at 85.

In the entire South East Zone, the province confirmed 28 new cases of the virus, with the active count now at 245.

There were three new COVID-19 related deaths confirmed on Friday.
