The Estevan Police Service dealt with quite a range of issues, as they responded to 66 occurrences over the weekend, according to a news release.

A motorcyclist had his bike impounded and was ticketed after being caught travelling at 112 kph in a 50 zone on Kensington Avenue.

There was a report that two headstones were knocked over at the cemetery. Police attended and do not believe the damage was intentional. The City was notified to reset the stones.

A male reported his vehicle had not been returned when it should have been. Police have not been able to find the vehicle or the suspect, and are continuing to investigate.

Two suspicious males were located in the 700 block of 4th Street. Police spoke to them about their presence in the area.

A female with active warrants with the Regina Police Service was stopped on Highway 39, and released with a court date.

Police warned a male in the northern part of the city of a bylaw prohibiting panhandling.

An intoxicated female called 911, and wound up being arrested for public mischief due to the misuse of the 911 system. She was kept in cells until she sobered up.

There were several reports of missing children at the fair, though each kid was found shortly after the reports.

A male and female who were on no-contact conditions were seen at the fair. The male was arrested and charged with breaching the conditions of his release.

Also from the fair, there was a report of a young female possibly being lured away by an older male. Police spoke with the female, and learned that the older male was a relative, which was confirmed by other family members.

There was a report of a suspicious male outside a business, who police could not locate.

A report came in of someone trying to kick in a door to a residence. Police attended and determined that it was a result of a dispute over a dog. The situation was mediated and the dog was returned to its owner.

Police were called to St. Joseph's Hospital to help staff with a patient, and mediated a resolution.

Police also completed several curfew checks over the weekend, and provided security to the Estevan Exhibition Association several times for bank deposit trips.
