The Estevan Police Service say a 27-year-old man is facing a slew of charges following an armed standoff that took place in Estevan last week.
The incident occurred at a residence on 8th Street around 10:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Police say the suspect will be charged with:
- Taking of a Hostage
- Three counts of Uttering Threats to Cause Death
- Resist Arrest
- Mischief
- Failing to Comply with the Conditions of a Release Order
The EPS said they will not be releasing the suspect's name until her appears in court.
