A day after clinching their first division title in 22 years the Toronto Blue Jays fell in their series finale with the Baltimore Orioles 6-4.

It was a ball game which got underway in the early afternoon and finished at night as the clubs battled mother nature.

Toronto rested their entire starting line up and starting pitcher David Price was pulled from his start as he rests up for the post-season.

Unfortunately for the Jays Thursday night was that Kansas City won, and as a result the two balls clubs have identical 92-67 records.

Toronto will begin their final series of the regular season Friday night in Tampa Bay against the Rays.

The Jays will send veteran lefty Mark Buehrle to the hill in the opener.

First pitch is slated for just after 5:00pm.
