Progress continues on this year's harvest operations in the southeast.

According to this week's Crop Report, 22% of the crop has been combined with another 26% laying in swath waiting to be straight combined.

Although rain, hail, and flooding were listed as the main sources of damage, Agrologist Terry Bedard says the rains did help with moisture conditions with fifty percent of cropland in the southeast reporting adequate moisture.

The southeast is currently reporting the second-most progress in the province in terms of this year's harvest, behind the southwest.
