One of Estevan's own is trying to prove that he is among the province's best.
Jordan Blanchette linebacker for the ECS Elecs was on hand in Regina this weekend for the first football senior bowl tryouts.
He took part in a series of testing which includes a benchpress, a 40 yard dash and a vertcal jump.
If Blanchette makes it past the first cut he would return to Regina at the end of the month for the second try out. If he makes it past that tryout he will be on the South team for the Senior Bowl.
