For the second straight pre-season game, the Estevan Bruins lost in a shootout to their arch-rival the Weyburn Red Wings.

The Bruins dropped a 5-4 decision to the Wings in Weyburn Monday night in what turned out to be a high scoring, back and forth affair.

Bruins goaltender Jackson Miller was pulled early in the game after giving up a pair of goals. Cam Hrdlicka entered the game in relief and made 36 saves.

Forwards Nathan Dann, Sam McPeak, Mitch Kohner, and Cody Davis all scored for the Bruins.

Estevan will play three more exhibition games, all against MJHL opponents, before opening the regular season at home against Yorkton on Sept. 16.
