Power Dodge Estevan Bruins 20-year-old forward Zach Goberis has been nominated for two Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League awards.

Goberis received the nod for SJHL Most Valuable Player along with Battlefords Northstars scoring power Layne Young and Nipawin Hawks defender Josh McDougall.

Along with the MVP nomination, Goberis received a nomination for Viterra Division Player of the year with Layne Young in the Global Ag Risk Solutions Division and Melfort's Loch Morrison in the Sherwood Division.

The Arvada, Colorado product has enjoyed a career year with the Bruins, scoring 29 goals and 40 assists through 51 games so far this season and has been a driving force for the Viterra Division leading Bruins all season long. Goberis has also received a few accolades so far this season, including player of the month, player of the week and an appearance with the SJHL at the inaugural SJHL/MJHL Showcase.
