The Estevan Bruins battled through some adversity Wednesday night on their way to a 3-2 road win over the Yorkton Terriers.

Already ahead 3-1 midway through the third period, Dayton Deics appeared to score on the power play, beating Terrier goaltender Kael DePape off the post and in. However the officials waived it off, play continued, and Yortkon was able to score a few minutes later to pull within one.

Estevan then had to fight tooth and nail to preserve the victory, getting a few key shot blocks and a game saving penalty in the dying seconds from defenceman Nolan Jones.

Estevan got goals from Mark Rumsey (36), Eric Houk (14), and Zach Burfoot (7).

Goaltender Cam Hrdlicka picked up yet another win in his remarkable rookie season.

With the win the Bruins move back into sole possession of first place in the SJHL.
