It was never close Saturday night in La Ronge, as the Estevan Bruins gave up three goals in the first period and lost 6-1 to the Ice Wolves.

The Bruins picked up just one out of a possible four points in the weekend series after losing in a shootout on Friday.

Tempers boiled over in the third period Saturday after the sixth La Ronge goal, with ejections and suspensions likely coming.

The Bruins will travel to Flin Flon next weekend.
