Despite trailing 5-3 through four and a half innings and 8-5 going into the bottom half of the eighth, the 18U AA Estevan Brewers pulled through to cap off a tremendous season walking off the Unity Cardinals 9-8 at Pacer Park in Regina on a Cade Bendtsen single.
Bendsten also threw two and a third innings, giving up one run.
Kaleb Bechtold was credited with the win, throwing one scoreless inning, allowing one hit, on just seven pitches.
Tyler Saigeon had a big day at the dish for Estevan, going 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs, and three runs scored.
Tayce Miller also hit a double for the Brewers, going 2-for-4. Bendsten also had a pair of knocks.
Hunter Stewart gave up five runs (three earned) over 4.2 innings.
Unity advanced to the finals with a 9-5 win over the Regina Blue Jays earlier in the day.
