On December 31, 2021, the world was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Betty White.

Whether you loved her for her witty humor, grew up watching her on Golden Girls, or loved how progressive she was, White touched the hearts of many.

Throughout her life, Betty was an animal lover. She was always raising her voice for those who didn't have one and would constantly stand up for her furry friends.

On Monday, January 17th, 2022 White was set to turn the big 100, and with her unfortunate passing only weeks before,  the world is celebrating her life with the #BettyWhiteChallenge. This is a challenge in which you make a donation to a local animal shelter or humane society. The challenge began circulating the internet in early January and has inspired a few local businesses and organizations to take part.

Including local Bakery Urban Icing. Listen to the full interview below for details on their "Cookies for a Cause- Remembering Betty White" Fundraiser!
