Sun 102's Sports Star of the Month is Christian de Castro, he is a Tennis Champion now living in Estevan for the past 7 years. He is originally from Manila, Philippines. 

When I asked Christian about how he got his start, "I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old, and of course my dad is a tennis instructor."

How he found out about the Tennis Club in Estevan, "I met some people here, and they mentioned why don't you join us, and now we have a club." 

"I've been professionally competing since high school, and my last tournament was just this past Saturday." And being the modest and humble man he is, he went on to tell me he won the championship. 

Christian is also organizing a tournament this July 14th and 15th, and it will be held at the back of the Leisure Center. If anyone wants to join them, you are free to do so.
