Three arrests stemmed from a conditions check overnight in Estevan.

Estevan Police Service Sgt. Tyler McMillen said they carried out a number of curfew and conditions checks on the night shift.

"We got to one house where the occupant is on conditions which allows the police to search his residence. Police did that. There were also two other people in the residence at the time. What is believed to be methamphetamine and possible fentanyl was located in that residence."

A 45-year-old man from Estevan was charged with possession of fentanyl.

McMillen said the man was on a conditional sentence order. He was released with an appearance notice and will appear in court as his CSO is paused until he has a hearing.

A 42-year-old woman from Weyburn and a 22-year-old woman from Weyburn were arrested as well.

The 42 year old was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, and breaching conditions of a probation order.

The 22 year old was released without charges.

McMillen said all three were released from custody by mid-morning Friday.
