The Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network issued a release shortly before 4:30 Wednesday afternoon asking the public to report any sightings of a red Chrysler 300 allegedly used in stealing fuel and fleeing police.

The advisory said Moosomin RCMP attempted on Tuesday to locate a red 300 involved in a theft from Virden, Man.

At 3:06 p.m. Wednesday, the Co-op in Carlyle reported a 2007 red 300 with Manitoba plate LGR124 failed to pay for fuel, and drive northbound on Highway 9.

Police found the car near Wawota, and it fled.

It was last seen heading east from Wawota.
