ECS Awards Night Tomorrow

With the end of the school year fast approaching, the Estevan Comp. will hold their awards night tomorrow at ECS.

The night will honor the best of academics and athletics at the school. There will be awards, scholarships and bursaries handed out to the students. The scholarships are donations coming from various businesses and individuals from around the community.

Teacher Brian Wright explains the evening will be divided into three segments. "The first one being scholarships and bursaries winners. Then we recognize academic achievements, several scholarships recognize those students. And then we recognize all the kids involved with the athletics and activities in our building."

The students will not be the only people honored tomorrow. The volunteer coaches will also be recognized for their work with the high school teams. Wright noted the work of those coaches is very much appreciated.
