Students, teachers and parents gathered at The Estevan Comp last night  for the annual awards night. Dozens of students received awards, scholarships and bursaries to recognize their hard work.

Students were honoured in a variety of ways. Winners included: Rebecca Cooper who received the Quewezance Memorial Soccer Scholarship, James Schulte who won the Estevan City Police Association Bursary, Jade Lebel who won the H and R Block Student Scholarship, and Jessica Bath who received the Kay Scraper Memorial Award.

The biggest winner of the night might be Matthew Cundall. He won The Estevan Masonic Lodge Scholarship, The Alicia Casey Scholarship for Communication  and The Estevan OTS Scholarship. He also shared  the Estevan Order of The Royal Purple Scholarship with  Whitney Sauder and was named Most Valuable Player for the football team. He also received a Centennial Merit Plus Scholarship from the University of Regina and an Entrance Scholarship from the University of Saskatchewan.
