Thursday night and early Friday morning warranted two calls to the police in Estevan that were split between the two services, and both were a little out of the ordinary.

Starting early Thursday evening, the Estevan RCMP put the word out about a break and enter they're investigating in the Sunset Subdivision. Police were called to a C-can in the area where the locks had been cut so the culprits could make their way inside.

Stolen items included a number of American collectors coins including silver dollars, buffalo nickels, rolls of pennies, and rolls of quarters, as well as a complete Roland electric drum kit.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of any of these items, contact the Estevan RCMP.

As for the Estevan Police Service, the odd call they faced was regarding a vehicle collision. The EPS was called by a towing company after said towing company was called to move a vehicle. The vehicle in question had been damaged significantly and had been left undrivable for an extended period of time before the towing company was called.

The vehicle was labeled as suspicious after the means of reporting, and an investigation is still ongoing.
