A 27-year-old man had his driver's license suspended indefinitely, his vehicle impounded for 60 days, and is facing criminal charges after driving above the legal limit on Wednesday.

The Estevan Police Service said the man was arrested after failing a roadside screening device test in the 1300 block of 7th Street.

He was transported to the police station where he provided two breath samples, both over the legal limit of .08. One was .09 and the other was .10.

He was released for a November court appearance.

Police also reported that a firearm was turned over to them for destruction on Wednesday. Officers picked up the firearm and transported it to the police station.
