A number of community leaders from across the province were in Estevan last week for the Saskatchewan City Mayors Caucus.

As Mayor Gary St. Onge explains, most of the discussion was spent on Revenue Sharing and a report recently compiled on the subject by a number of City Managers and staff from the Department of Government Relations.

 

Mayor St. Onge says our city currently receives just under one million dollars in Revenue Sharing from the Provincial Government, but considering the markers in the report, we could easily argue for twice that amount.
