Thanks to a fifty-thousand dollar donation from the Estevan Rotary Club yesterday, the new Civic Centre Committee has now raised over 2.2 million dollars.

According to Club President Reynold Bert, contributing to the facility was an ovious choice for the Rotary because of the benfits it will bring to the community.

The Rotary's donation will be directed towards the purchase of sections G, H, and I.

According to Fundraising Chairperson Kim Anderson, who accepted the donation, residents can look forward to a major funding announcement next week from the Provincial Government, which will bring the organization even closer to its six-million dollar goal.
