The countdown is on for the highly anticipated 2023 Energy City Ex, organized by the Estevan Exhibition Association.

One of the highlights will be the KCRA Rodeo, which boasts an extended schedule this year.

"We have added a third day of rodeo action for you from KCRA," said Ross. Families can look forward to witnessing local contestants go head-to-head with competitors from Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Adding to the rodeo excitement is the Rodeo Queen contest. Ross revealed that three exceptional contestants will vie for the crown, impressing the audience with speeches and horsemanship skills. The grand crowning ceremony will take place on Saturday afternoon during the rodeo.

The fair promises an array of attractions for all ages with the kick-off on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.

For those eager to secure their fair experience, advanced ride bracelets and tickets are available at Nutters, Franks on 4th, and Henders Drugs. Pre-sales will close on Monday at noon before the official start of the midway on Thursday.

Night owls and party-goers won't be disappointed either. The cabaret will be a highlight of the Energy City Ex nightlife, featuring the highly anticipated performance of Brad Johner & The Johner Boys. With an affordable entrance fee of only $10.

Ross highlighted the event's growth compared to the previous year. "We've added a jackpot cattle show, a free stage with local talent, and even a Cowboy Church service from Living Hope Church," she shared.

Attendees can also look forward to a mesmerizing quilt show in the exhibition hall, featuring stunning creations from far and wide.
