The city of Estevan has a new development for its downtown revitalization project, in cooperation with the Business Improvement District committee.

The city and BID announced in a media release that they had acquired the lot previously occupied by Kal-Tire at the intersection of 5 Street and 13 Avenue.

According to the release they are waiting for the George Harris Collaborative team, who is consulting on the project, to complete their second and third phases of the project before suggesting what to do with the land.

Public consultations for phase 2 are scheduled for tonight at the Nicholson center from 6:30 - 8:30, with phase 3 happening sometime in the future.
