The Germans are golden in Swift Current.
The Andrea Schopp foursome from Germany claimed the Ford World Women's Curling Championship with an 8-6 win over Scotland in the final. Germany was up 6-5 coming home in the 10th, but young Scottish Skip Eve Muirhead made a clutch double-runback for one to send it to extras. The Germans would then score one in the 11th to win.
Also on Sunday Team Canada took Bronze beating Sweden by a score of 8-6.
