The Estevan Bruins are back in action for the first time post-Christmas break, and we gave away a pair of tickets today on the morning show! All you had to do to win was answer this Bruins trivia question:
"When was the last time the Estevan Bruins won an SJHL championship?"
Had a couple of callers, including Jerry who said the last time the Bruins won the league was in 1985, and though the Bruins did win it in '85 they have had one other since then, and Reinholt called in and gave me the correct answer of 1999!
Congratulations Reinholt, and enjoy tonight's edition of the battle for Highway 39! The Bruins are opening the second half of their season tonight against the Weyburn Red Wings, puck drops at 7:30 at Affinity Place. Should be a great matchup!
