The charming town of Kisbey, Saskatchewan is "nice and quiet", Mayor Calvin Nankivell told us. Located southwest of Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Kisbey has a population of about 185 people; although, that number is on the rise. Calvin explained that a few local homes have recently been sold and that local real estate is hot because of how small and close the community is.

"We've had about three or four houses sold in the last two months here, so our vacancy rate has gone down, and I know that the local real estate guy has marketed it, just on the town being nice and quiet and small. I think that has really helped," Calvin told us.

He also said that the water in Kisbey is naturally beautiful and because of that, many people in the surrounding drive to Kisbey to make use of their local well.

Congratulations Kisbey for being our Town Salute today. Thank you for making the Southeast corner a beautiful place to live.
