Midale kicked off the Christmas Season on Saturday with their Annual Santa Parade. It was well attended by hundreds of people all lined up along Main Street and Railway Avenue anticipating a sneak peek of Santa making his rounds throughout the Southeast.

Mayor Allan Hauglum, "We have the Santa Clause Parade, the Plus One Group in Midale has the Santa Clause Parade that they sponsor. And they have the hot dog lunch after, to raise funds for their club. To put on more events like this. They had multiple draws today, they had a 50/50 draw, and they have items our there that you buy tickets on. And you just throw your ticket is with whatever you feel like you would like to win, and then you have a chance to win that."

Hauglum was excited, "It was a very big turn out today, I'm thinking we had close to 150 people here for hot dog lunch. And yeah, that's awesome that the community turns out for these kinds of events."

"I'd like to thank everyone who came out, and I hope our parade next year can be bigger and better. We're always looking for more floats, and hopefully its bigger next year."
