The NDP's Pat Atkinson is now serving as the party's Agriculture Critic.

She says while it's a new role, it's one she has some familiarity with having grown up with a farming background.

 

Atkinson says she plans to hold the Saskatchewan Party and Agriculture Minister Bob Bjornerud accountable to the province's producers.
