The Estevan Bruins have now dropped two of their last three games after a 5-2 loss to the Yorkton Terriers Friday night in Yorkton.

The Bruins fell behind 2-0 in the first period and it was an uphill battle from there against a Terriers team that has been almost unbeatable at home as of late.

Yorkton has not lost at home in regulation since Oct. 9, a streak of 11 straight games.

Maddux Nollski had a hat-trick for the Terriers, while Erik Houk and Kade Runke had the goals for the Bruins.

Remarkably, this is Estevan’s first loss to a division opponent this season.

The Bruins will wrap up their first half schedule Saturday night in Weyburn before the SJHL pauses for the Christmas break.
