Perkins Street will continue to be closed from Rooks Avenue to 4th Avenue until further notice.
A water transmission line break was discovered on Wednesday. A temporary repair was made that night, and the water was shut off again on Thursday afternoon once parts arrived so a permanent fix could be arranged.
Residents will continue having to find an alternate water supply until everything is repaired.
The city asks the public to follow alternate routes during this closure.
