SaskPower announced on Twitter that some customers in Carlyle will be without power for a stretch of time Wednesday.

The outage is planned for 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for customers on the 100-300 blocks of 6th St W & 5th St W, 200-300 blocks of 7th St W, and 300 block of 8th St W.

Meanwhile, SaskPower had a busy time in the southwest corner of the province Tuesday evening. Outages happened in Maple Creek, Shaunavon, Eastend, Climax, and Val Marie areas brought on by a winter storm. The Crown corporation reported at 4 p.m. that around 6,500 customers were without power.
