The Regina Airport Authority says construction work has resumed on the airport's major revitalization project following the death of a construction worker.
The accident happened at Regina International Airport late last week.
"As you can imagine, this situation has been an incredibly challenging few days for all involved," said the RAA in a news release sent out Wednesday.
The release also said that while work on the project started again on Monday, the primary focus was on the people involved in the incident and ensuring they had the support they needed.
The RAA also said both the federal and provincial inspections have been completed on-site, with some follow-up interviews still going on. PCL Construction is also conducting their own internal investigation.
No personal or identifying information from the worker who died has been released, the airport said.
The airport added that the people who were involved in the incident have been offered crisis counselling.
The project is worth $26 million and is highlighted by work on the main runway.
