The Estevan Police Service (EPS) reported that multiple people are facing drug trafficking and weapons charges after a bust on Highway 39.

Members of the EPS and Weyburn Police Service "intercepted a significant quantity of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and Canadian currency during a traffic stop on Highway 39," according to a release from the EPS.

Police said they arrested occupants of the vehicles for several offences, including drug trafficking, weapons, and possession of proceeds obtained by crime.

There were no more details provided. Police said the investigation is ongoing and that they'll provide more information as it becomes available.
