The Janssen vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) is available beginning Wednesday to Saskatchewan residents 18 or older.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority sent out a release on Tuesday listing Estevan as one of eight cities that will be holding clinics.

The initial supply of 2500 single dose Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccines will be offered at specific SHA clinics starting Wed, Nov 17 in #Regina, #Saskatoon, #Estevan, #PrinceAlbert, #Melfort, #SwiftCurrent, #NorthBattleford, #Lloydminster.https://t.co/PUVtSN8JAy 1/2

But as of 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, the SHA's schedule for vaccine clinics does not include Estevan for any COVID-19 immunizations. It only lists a November 16 flu shot clinic.

The SHA has been reached out to for more details.

The Janssen vaccine only requires one dose and a 14-day wait until the person who received the shot is considered fully vaccinated.

The province's initial supply of the vaccine is 2,500 doses spread out between the eight cities.
