Parts of Saskatchewan woke up in the dark this morning, due to a massive power outage.

SaskPower Spokesperson Larry Christie says they believe the problem originated south of the Canadian border.
The power outage happened shortly after 4:00 this morning.

Christie adds that the blackout area covered Prince Albert, Regina, Shaunavon, and most of the Southeast.
