According to a new study release recently by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, small businesses and older workers form a valuable partnership in dealing with the skills and labour shortage in Saskatchewan.

Marilyn Braun-Pollon, vice-president of Saskatchewan and Agri-Business explains that small business owners are quick to celebrate the important contributions older workers make to their firms such as strong work ethic, experience, qualifications and loyalty.

According to the study, almost half of small businesses in Saskatchewan employ at least one older worker over the age of sixty.
