The crowd was cold, but the burning desire for a new arena wasn't.

 

The sod turning for the New Civic Events Centre was last night as people from Estevan and surrounding areas gathered to celebrate this important moment in Estevan's history.

If everything goes as planned, the New Civic Events Centre will be ready to go in 18 months.
