The Southeast Twins have the second-best record in the 18U AAA Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League after winning three of four weekend games.

The Twins fell 6-1 in Saturday's opener to the defending-champion Saskatoon Cubs in Estevan, but rallied from down 6-0 to edge the Cubs 9-8 in the second game of the day, thanks to a Dax Brown walk-off single. Callum Hollinger was 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles in the win.

Sunday in Carnduff, the Twins beat the Moose Jaw Canucks 10-6 and 12-0.

Hollinger had a double in two at-bats, with a pair of walks in the 10-6 win.

Dylan Frey and Carter Beck each had a pair of hits in the 12-0 win. Both of Frey's were doubles. Hollinger pitched four shutout innings, giving up two hits and five walks, while striking out five. Brown closed it out, striking out two in the fifth to seal the mercy win.

The Twins are second in the league at 7-1. The East Central Red Sox are in first at 7-0.

The Twins next game is Wednesday in Regina against the 5-2 White Sox.
