Water is flowing again for residents in the southwest quadrant of Estevan after a service disruption Monday night and into Tuesday.

The City said in a Facebook post overnight that the southwest quadrant of town is affected due to an "unanticipated service outage."

City Safety Coordinator Helen Fornwald said she hoped water would be restored by around 6 a.m.

Reports from people in the area say water was running again by that time.

A boil-water advisory is in effect.
