Stars On Ice

The Alameda Community Rink will be hosting the Saskatchewan Stars on Ice show tonight beginning at 6:30.  The show features the High Performance Figure Skating Team which features several local skaters.  Shelby Hall from Frobisher is coming off a gold medal performance at the Saskatchewan Winter Games in Moose Jaw.  Also on the team is Christine Hall from Frobisher, Madison Blischak from Estevan, Shaelyn Olafson from Moosomin and the international competitors Paige Lawrence and Rudi Sweigers.

The High Performance Team is made up 28 male and femaler skaters from across the province between the ages of  11 to 21 years old.  There will be solo programs, freeskate and dance pairs and even a group number.  Some of the best skaters in Saskatchewan will be on hand and there will even be a chance to meet your favourite skaters after the show.  This is one of only four stops the team is making this year.
