The Battlefords North Stars proved once again why they are the number one ranked junior team in Canada Friday night at Affinity Place.

The Stars beat the Estevan Bruins 7-4 in a high-scoring and entertaining affair that keeps Battlefords undefeated in regulation this season at 16-0-1-1.

Estevan falls back to .500 at 11-11.

The Bruins got an early goal from forward Sal Collora, but the Stars would rally for three straight goals before the first period ended. Estevan trailed the rest of the night.

The Bruins will try to bounce back Saturday as they once again welcome the Humboldt Broncos back in to Affinity Place to complete a stretch of three home games in three nights.
