Leave it to a bunch of eleven and twelve year-old kids to raise mom and dad's blood pressure. But in the end, it would pay off for the parents of the Estevan Tarpon Storm peewee hockey squad.

The three Estevan peewee teams hosted their home tournament over the weekend at Affinity Place and the Civic, with the championship trophy staying in the Energy City.

The Storm completed a thrilling come-from-behind victory in the A-side Final against the Swift Current Rustlers. Trailing 4-0, the Storm came all the way back and in a dramatic finish, won the tournament with a 5-4 shootout victory.

"I couldn't be prouder of the team," expressed Coach Lloyd Sehn after the championship victory. "We had a tough road to get to the final, we had a tough pool and dropped a game in the round robin so we had to play an extra game."

"Then coming back from a 4-0 deficit, where the kids didn't quit, and it was an exciting moment for everybody."

The Storm defeated Yorkton to open the tournament before falling to Weyburn. To advance to the A-side, the Storm were forced to beat both Moose Jaw and their friends from the Estevan Wolves to make the final and win it all.
