As eating out is becoming increasingly expensive, being a new parent makes the experience even more tough!

Shannon Thompson and her family went to Boston Pizza for supper with their 18 month old son, Leo, who was particularly fussy in the restaurant. The waitress was especially patient, bringing the food out swiftly and giving the child a free desert to calm him.

Much to their surprise, an anonymous stranger had covered the meal expense. The stranger did not approach the table, introduce themselves, or leave so much as a name.

"It was more meaningful to us than anyone could think of because this is our first child. For new parents like us, behaviour like that is one of the reasons we choose not to go out. For someone to go out of their way to make our night and make us feel like we shouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed meant a lot to us."

Faith in humanity has been restored yet again!
